The City of Flagstaff and Eagle Mountain Construction will begin the Meade Lane Utility Improvements Project on Monday, Aug. 31.
The project will run along Meade Lane between Highway 180/Fort Valley Road and the Rio de Flag bridge. Crews will replace aging water and sewer infrastructure, improve stormwater drainage and the FUTS trail, repair curbs, gutters and driveways and reconstruct the roadway.
Work is expected to continue through summer 2027. Construction may take place Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Residents should expect one lane of traffic to remain open for residential access however, construction noise, rough road conditions, temporary water shutoffs and driveway repairs will occur. The City asks residents to avoid on-street parking in the construction area.
