The Yavapai County Sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect, or suspects, responsible for firing at least five bullets into a home in Mayer earlier this month. Officials say the incident happened at the home in the 12-thousand block of Carrion Way between 4:30 p.m. on November 6th and 4 p.m. on November 7th. The bullets, possibly 9mm Luger rounds, penetrated multiple interior walls with one bullet coming to rest inside a washing machine. The bullets passed through a room and a playroom where the victims’ grandchildren play. It’s not known if the victims, or the kids, were at home of the time of the shooting. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered by Yavapai Silent Witness for any information that leads to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-932-3232 or submit a tip online at yavapaisw.com.
