YCSO Investigators Looking Into Air Conditioning Unit Thefts In Cottonwood

Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials are looking for suspects in connection with an air conditioner theft ring in Cottonwood. Authorities say deputies were called to the 26-hundred block of South Union Drive in Cottonwood last Wednesday regarding the theft of eight air condition condenser units. Employees at Connolly Electric say the crimes were likely committed on the Fourth of July. Each unit weighs 200 pounds each. A truck or a flatbed trailer were likely used to move the stolen property. The stolen units cost over 63-hundred dollars total. If anyone has information about the crime, contact Yavapai County Sheriff’s or Yavapai Silent Witness.
