A routine traffic stop by Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies led to the arrest of a man known to the FBI as one of the “Criss-Cross Bandits.” Sheriff’s officials say a deputy stopped a vehicle on Interstate-17 and Orme Road back on August 25th at 2:15 a.m. for a license plate violation. During a check of the car, the driver, Sietaro Kline was in possession of heroin. A records check showed he had a warrant for bank robbery by the FBI. He has been booked into the Camp Verde Detention Center and is being held without bond. Sietaro and his wife 34-year-old Carrie Kline have been indicted by a federal grand jury for a series of bank robberies in the Phoenix area between 2016 and July of 2018.
