A man has been arrested and two kids, who were allegedly abducted by the man in Texas, were recovered Saturday in Winslow. Police received information from the Belton, Texas Police Department that a semi-truck containing the two kids and 47-year-old Marshall Pendergrass might be in the area. Officers from the Winslow Police Department and the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office found the truck in the 400 block of Transcon Lane in Winslow. Pendergrass was questioned and the missing 12-year-old male and 14-year-old female were found in the sleeper cab of the truck. The two are siblings and were being held against their will by Pendergrass. They were reported missing Friday. The children are in good physical condition and have been turned over to the Department of Child Services. The FBI and Winslow Police are investigating the case. Pendergrass is being held pending federal charges.
