The U.S. Forest Service will drop water levels at the Blue Ridge Reservoir by 26 feet later this month. SRP will inspect the tunnel inlet that transfers water to the East Verde River. The boat ramp will still be open during the time, but it may be hard to launch a boat with the water being low. Other construction projects at the reservoir will take place while the water level is dropped. Vehicle access to the road will be closed beginning on September 19th at the Red Rock Crossing campground and won’t reopen until April of 2015.
