A morning shooting in Prescott Valley turned into a search for three suspects Tuesday. Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials says deputies arrived to the area of the 69-hundred block of East Highway 69 near a pawn shop at around 8:15 a.m. on a report of a possible shooting. Prescott Valley Police officers were first on the scene and confirmed a man had been shot in the stomach at, or near, the location. The man was taken to a Phoenix area hospital. Authorities looked for three suspects in connection with the crime and throughout the day, they found them. Officials say 30-year-old Troy Thomas Mobley from Phoenix, was shot at a Spring Valley home and was taken to a Phoenix hospital where he died. Investigators are looking into self-defense by someone at the home. Twenty-one-year-old Skyler Lee Beveridge from Prescott Valley was arrested at an area home and charged with robbery, assault and hindering prosecution. Twenty-two-year-old Zachary Bowling from Mayer, was found in Poland Junction after authorities found the vehicle they were looking for. He was arrested and booked on assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping and robbery. Both are in the Camp Verde Detention Center. Bonds have not been set.
