A third man has been arrested in connection with burglary of a Cottonwood home recently. Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials were called to a home Monday morning on the 14-hundred block of Rocky Knolls Trail. When they arrived, they found a 32-year-old resident shaken as he told deputies an unknown male opened their bedroom door and then ran from the home. He saw the person drive away in a teal-covered station wagon with a male passenger inside. The victim checked around the home and noticed a large-screen TV was missing from the living room. Soon after, authorities found the vehicle in the back parking lot of a nearby hotel. When officers approached the vehicle, three men jumped out and fled. Deputies arrested 20-year-old Alex Palomino and 27-year-old Gregory Perkins, both of Cottonwood, in connection with the crime. The missing TV was found in the back of the car. Palomino and Perkins remain at the Camp Verde Detention Center on bond. The third suspect, 21-year-old Mac Cauich of Cottonwood, turned himself in to the Camp Verde Detention Center on Tuesday and has been charged in relation to the crime.
