Crews are getting the upper hand on the Tank Fire, which is burning near Clints Well in the Coconino National Forest. The fire started Wednesday by a lightning-strike about one-to-two miles northeast of the junction of Lake Mary Road and State Route 87. The fire has burned at around 170 acres and is now 70-percent contained. Around 100 structures were threatened, but none have been destroyed. Another round of thunderstorms are expected today, that means another chance of lightning-caused fires in Northern Arizona.
