The search for a new Flagstaff City Manager has hit a snag. The city council recently conducted a nationwide search for a new manager after current City Manager Barbara Goodrich decided she wanted to retire. Officials say contract negotiations were unsuccessful with the chosen candidate due to salary, so a new search will begin in April. This time, the City Council has increased the advertised salary range. A statement from the Council says “we are very proud of the recruitment process and want to thank city staff and the community for their involvement.” Additional information about the position will be released at a later date.
