There have been 113 cases of COVID-19 attributed directly or indirectly with Mingus Mountain Academy in Prescott Valley. Yavapai County health officials say of the 113, 86 are between the ages of 13 and 17 years old. As of Wednesday, there is one new reported case for 272 total cases of the coronavirus with six deaths and 38 recoveries in the county. Results from last Saturday’s blitz tests shows test results are up over 600 with a 96.8-percent average of negative tests to positive ones in the county. Health officials have separated the Mingus Mountain outbreak from daily numbers. There are now 41 cases in Prescott, 37 cases in Prescott Valley, 17 in Sedona and 13 in Cottonwood. Officials also say there are nine cases in Mayer and Dewey, along with ten in Camp Verde and seven in Chino Valley.
