Jeff Kennedy

Weekdays | 6a-9a

Jeff began his broadcasting career in 1988 as an announcer for the University of Redlands in Southern CA. In 1992, he relocated to Flagstaff, and for two years served as the play-by-play voice of NAU women’s basketball, as well as host of a daily sports talk show. He moved to Phoenix late in 1994 where he was the host of a four-hour daily sports talk show. In addition, he was the Host of the AZ Cardinals pre-game huddle and covered the Phoenix Suns, AZ Coyotes, and AZ Diamondbacks, as well as collegiate and High school sports.

Although most of his career has been spent covering sports, he says, “I’m excited for the opportunity to host a News/Talk Show and welcome the challenge. I’m committed to being a valuable, trusted, and non-bias news source and look forward to developing a relationship with the community that invites honest and respectful dialogue on even the most difficult and polarizing subjects.”

Jeff has worked in retail management and currently serves the community as the Sr. Pastor of First Missionary Baptist Church Flagstaff.

Jeff and his wife Rebecca live in Williams, AZ, and they have four kids, all enrolled at NAU.
