The Flagstaff City Council has a few items on the agenda for tonight’s meeting at City Hall. The council will hold a public hearing on an ordinance to rezone about an acre-and-a-half from research and development zoning to highway commercial for development of a gas station and convenience store just off Interstate-17 and J.W. Powell Boulevard. Council will vote for the first time on the ordinance as well. They will also consider an ordinance to acquire about two acres at the southwest corner of Locket Road and Fanning Avenue for affordable housing. The public hearing on the High Occupancy Housing Specific Plan was been rescheduled for February 20th. The session begins at 6 p.m.
