A man who was wanted in connection with the death of a 31-year-old Camp Verde man early Monday morning has been arrested. Camp Verde Marshal’s say 27-year-old Levi Jones was arrested by Phoenix Police at around noon Tuesday in San Tan Valley. Jones was the prime suspect in a death of John Warren Silva, who fatally shot inside a Circle K. Law enforcement responded to a call at 2:20 a.m. inside the Camp Verde store on Main Street and found Silva dead. Authorities say Jones and a female friend approached Silva and another female at the store and the women began to fight. Jones then allegedly shot Silva and left. Jones was released from prison in February after serving time for third-degree burglary and was on supervised parole.
