Stranded Hiker Airlifted From Devil’s Bridge In Sedona
Yavapai County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue crews had to rescue a female hiker Monday afternoon after she became stuck in an area without adequate supplies. Officials say the 26-year-old called for help in a remote area northwest of Devil’s Bridge in Sedona. She was airlifted off the mountain and reunited with an awaiting family member. The woman told officials she relied on bad information on how to get out of where she was. Fortunately she had enough battery power on her phone to call for help. She was hiking in shorts and sandals, which isn’t the best attire to be hiking in that area. There were no injuries in the incident.

Kudos to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Sear and Rescue team, going where most of us couldn’t go, to save complete strangers.
