Sinagua Middle School and the Flagstaff Unified School District offices were put in lockdown this morning for a short time. District officials say they were notified by Flagstaff Police at around 8:30 this morning that there was a suspicious person with a gun was seen near the school. Police say a witness told them she saw a person between 16 and 25-years-old walking out of the cul de sac to the east of the school grounds. Northland Prep and Knoles Elementary School were put on lockdown due to proximity to the middle school. A student was found by police in the area carrying a long stick. The lockdown was lifted a short time later.
