The remains of missing Glendale school teacher Cathryn Gorospe have possibly been found. The 44-year-old was last seen bonding out 27-year-old Charlie Malzahn out of the Coconino County Jail last Friday. He was booked into jail back on August 20th by the Williams Police Department on weapons charges. Police say the two left Flagstaff heading west on Interstate-40 toward Williams. It’s believed Malzahn took the vehicle from Gorospe at some point during his travels through Chino Valley, Prescott, Prescott Valley, Dewey then south to Interstate-17 and into Phoenix, ultimately ending up in Clifton. He was finally arrested in Phoenix early last Monday morning when he crashed the vehicle. Malzahn is the stepson of Williams Police Chief Herman Nixon. Police say Gorospe used to come up to Williams to work when school was out, which is where she met Malzahn. The body has been taken to the coroner’s office for a positive identification. The cause of death and where the body was found is being withheld at this time.
