A Red Flag Warning will be in effect for areas of Northern Arizona Thursday. The National Weather Service says the warning will be in effect for southern Coconino, southern Navajo and southern Apache counties from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Winds are expected to be 15-to-20 miles per hour with gusts up to 35 miles per hour at times. A combination of high winds, low humidities and dry forests and grasslands makes the chances of a wildfire spreading quickly extreme. Most of the state is under Stage Two fire restrictions, which means no campfires or smoking outdoors.
