The U.S. Soccer Federation has awarded Puente de Hozho Elementary School a grant worth $11,650. The grant is intended to fund a professional grade outdoor soccer court that will be available for community use. Puente de Hozho was one of nine organizations to receive grants. The grant was awarded as part of U.S. Soccer’s Safe Places to Play program, which seeks to provide kids with safe and accessible areas to play by funding the costs of design, construction, surfacing and enhancement in communities. The soccer court will have lighting and an Astroturf surface.
