There’s a pair of prescribed burns set for tomorrow in the Coconino National Forest. A two-day burn will start Wednesday near Slate Mountain, around 24 miles northwest of Flagstaff. The project is set to burn nearly 12-hundred acres. Smoke will be seen along Highway 180 in the Kendrick Park area and is expected to move to the east. Another burn could take place this week south of Marshall Lake. The 623 acre burn may take place before Friday. A 65-acre burn is set to start Wednesday in the Clints Well area in the southern end of the forest.
