Prescott Valley Police Chief Bryan Jarrell has announced he is retiring. The chief made the announcement Monday. Chief Jarrell has been in law enforcement for more than 34 years and has been police chief in Prescott Valley since November of 2013. Under his watch, Prescott Valley has the lowest crime rate in Northern Arizona for the past two years. Jarrell says he plans to return to Michigan to be closer to his family. His resignation will be effective July 1st of this year. The Town of Prescott Valley has begun a nationwide search for a new police chief.
