Prescott Valley Police have arrested a man who reportedly fired a gun in an area neighborhood. Authorities responded to a house on the 31-hundred block of Tani Road at around 4:30 Sunday afternoon. They were attempting to locate Matthew Curl, who fled the scene. Officers saw fired shell casings on the floor of the home and discovered a hole in the ceiling. Curl was located at a house on the 32-hundred block of Bumble Bee Drive. After a short standoff, he was taken into custody. He was booked into the Yavapai County Detention Center in Prescott on weapons misconduct and discharging a weapon within the city limits.
