A Prescott man is in jail after he fled from police and then rammed a police cruiser Monday afternoon in Prescott. Police responded to the 900 block of Audrey Lane at around 4:36 p.m. on a domestic violence call. Just before officers arrived, 42-year-old Henry Hobson of Prescott left the area in a 2006 black Audi. A short time later the car was spotted at Sun Street and Audrey Lane. Hobson refused to comply with officers and left. The pursuit ended when he drove down a dead end street, made a U-turn and drove straight for officers. He swerved around one police car, but hit the second one in the 200 block of Madison. Hobson again refused to comply with officers. SWAT members arrived and shot pepper balls into the car, forcing him out of the car. He continued to ignore officer’s commands. He was then tazed and taken into custody. Hobson was heavily intoxicated at the time of his arrest. He’s been booked on numerous crimes.
