Prescott Man Arrested After Found Passed Out In A Vehicle In Peeples Valley
A Prescott man was arrested last week after he was found passed out inside a vehicle at a gas station in Peeples Valley. A Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputy was flagged down at the store back on December 29th at around 7:30 a.m. The reporting party told the deputy a vehicle was parked by one of the pumps, still running and the driver was apparently passed out. Attempts to wake 21-year-old Cole Schram of Prescott were unsuccessful. When he finally woke up, Schram told the deputy he was heading to Prescott to see family and stopped to take a nap. Schram told the officer he was driving on a suspended license and he went on to fail a field sobriety test. A search of the vehicle revealed 41 blue pills, presumptive for fentanyl, inside a fanny pack. Schram later admitted buying the pills. A urine test came back positive for opioids, meth and THC. Schram was booked on charges related to the incident.
