There are still over ten-thousand votes still to be counted in Coconino County. The county’s elections office says out of the over ten-thousand ballots, 42-hundred are early ballots that came in on election day by mail and drop boxes. Thirty-six-hundred ballots were dropped off at polling places and vote centers and nearly 18-hundred are provisional ballots. Officials say there’s no way to know how many of those ballots are from Flagstaff. One race that remains in the balance is the final seat on the Flagstaff City Council. Paul Deasy leads Regina Salas by 12 votes after yesterday’s count. Adam Shimoni and Austin Aslan have already won seats on the council. Officials hope to have all of the ballots counted by Friday.
