Two people are dead and another person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Chino Valley. Central Arizona Fire and Medical crews responded to Highway 89 near Bethany Lane at around 4 p.m. and found both vehicles heavily-damaged. One of the vehicles was a white 1999 Jeep Cherokee and the other was a black 1985 Toyota MR2. Both occupants in the Toyota are deceased. They are a 17-year-old Sarah Buntin and 18-year-old Nicole Nanni, both of Paulden. The driver of the Jeep, 44-year-old Scott Enyart Junior, also of Paulden, is in the Flagstaff Medical Center in critical, but stable condition. The investigation is ongoing, however, Chino Valley Police haven’t talked to anyone who witnessed the accident. If anyone did, contact the police department at (928) 771-3260.
