Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez Under Self-Quarantine After Being Near A COVID-19 Positive Person
Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez, Vice President Myron Lizer and others are under self-quarantine from the coronavirus. President Nez said on a Facebook town hall Thursday that he, Lizer and others were meeting with officials from FEMA, the Army Corps of Engineers and others on Tuesday, when they came close to a first-responder who tested positive for COVID-19. Nez says they wearing protective gear and were taking every precaution. He said they were told Tuesday night about the person. Nez says he is self-quarantining “just to be on the safe side.” He is echoing his call tribal members to take the virus serious and stay home. Nez says “it’s frustrating to see people driving around out there, not abiding by the shelter in place order.” The Navajo Nation will be under full curfew this weekend from 8 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday morning. Anyone caught breaking curfew is subject to fines, with the exception of essential workers. The total number of positive cases of COVID-19 on the reservation is 488 with 20 deaths

I believe Navajo Nation and Gallup needs to be on lockdown. It can make a big difference. People just don’t want to listen or go by the law. I’m just saying I see a lot of people out it’s also sad to see with their KIDS!
To Honorable Next & Honorable Lizer, May the creator look over you two at this time.God bless.
Ya’at’eeh, shi naat’aanii, President Jonathan Nez:
I wrote these articles, “World Leaders and Coma,” and “Pray for Deliverance,” to the world people to pray all together on Easter Sunday when Jerusalem-Middle East standard time is 3 PM, which is when Jesus gave up his spirit. I’ll email them to you for your staff to read. I would like to do my part of saving humanity with my writings. Clarence Johnson, Blue Gap, AZ. We are COVID-19 quarantined. my laundry 4 Xs full.
Chat: My house needs running water hook up and septic tank-leach connection too. I built my house with my hard-earned teacher’s pay. “T’aa Hwo Ajit’eego.” I wish you and the VP quick recovery. cj

How are you and the VP doing? The articles I promised to send you did not make it through. I used jonathanne..@..nsn.com and opvp….gov but no go. I found them on the Internet. This lock down is like caging a wolf always looking for an opportunity to escape. If Boris Johnson of England can make it, then you and the Vice President can make it too. May God who made the our Holy People keep the two of you strong and health. The Nabik’iyati’ will give you the articles.
Very hard headed people in our community. Rush shopping in Gallup today, April 10, young kids with modern grandmas. Very congested with patrons not wearing protections, unconcerned and careless. I just now see new alarmed numbers. I can only imagine the pain and horror of these relatives suffering out there. I/We pray, if only in unison, with “one accord”, repent and understand what the higher authority requires and just depend entirely on him. As his promises stand unmoved that He “will care and protect us from Evil”. “A faith as small as a mustard seed, you can move mountains” are true encouragements to pray, depend on his promises and Trust him only. God Bless all my relatives, friends, leaders, frontline essential workers and first responders, Our President ,Vice President of United States, The Navajo Nation President and Vice President and all our leaders, as well as Doctors, Scientist diligently racing to find cure and everyone in adverse to this Pandemic. Lord, Christ Jesus, I Plead for your Mercy to protect our Navajo People, Our children, Our elderlies and Our Nation. In Christ Jesus’s name. Amen.
