The run for the NAU women’s basketball team in the Big Sky Tournament is over. The Jacks fell to top-seeded Idaho Tuesday, 90-73, in the quarterfinals in Boise, Idaho. Freshman Regan Schenck had a double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds and Jacey Bailey added 14 in the loss. Khairica Rasheed scored 13 points and Peyton Carroll chipped in with 11 for the Lumberjacks, who played without senior Kaleigh Paplow after injuring her ankle Monday in the first round against Sacramento State. NAU doesn’t leave Boise without accomplishment. The Jacks won their first tournament game in 12 years and have a ton of talent coming back next season. NAU finishes the season 13-18.
