The NAU Lumberjacks trailed by 19 points in the second half, rallied to tie the game with under a minute to go, only to fall, 81-79, to Idaho State in the Skydome Thursday. The game was tied at 79 when Chier Maker put back a missed shot with nine-tenths of a second to play to win the game for the Bengals. Bernie Andre led the Jacks with 21 points and eight rebounds for the Jacks, who have lost three games this season by a total of six points. Ted McCree added 13 points in the loss. NAU will try and regroup for Saturday when they host the Weber State Wildcats in the Skydome. Tipoff is at 2 p.m.
