There were two wild basketball games between NAU and Montana Monday night. First, the NAU women got 31 points, including seven three-pointers, from Jacey Bailey to lead the Lumberjacks to a big 82-65 win over Montana in the Skydome. The victory was the first win against Montana in seven years. Kaleigh Paplow added 15 points in the win for the Jacks, who will take on Northern Colorado in the season-finale in the Skydome Friday at 5 p.m. On the men’s side, Carlos Hines missed a three-pointer at the buzzer as NAU fell to Montana 66-64 in Missoula. Hines led the Jacks with 18 points and Cam Shelton and Luke Avdolovic added 13 points in the loss. NAU led 27 of the game’s 40 minutes, but couldn’t close the game out. The Jacks will look to finish the season on a good note Saturday in Greeley, Colorado against Northern Colorado. Tip time is at 7 p.m.
