Students, staff and faculty at Northern Arizona University will have a new way of getting around Flagstaff. NAU announced today they are partnering with Zipcar, to offer a car-sharing program on the Mountain Campus. The services gives people the freedom to get off campus without the hassle of owning a car, while also allowing NAU to meet sustainability goals by reducing the need for personal vehicles and parking spots on campus. The service will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for students, faculty and staff ages 18 and older. Cars are now available, but it will take three-to-seven days for users to get their membership card in the mail. For more information on the service and rates, log onto zipcar.com/nau.
