Mingus Union High School Student Charged With “Several Felonies”
A Mingus Union High School student was arrested Friday after he was caught with drugs and shotgun in his vehicle. Cottonwood Police say the 17-year-old male student was taken into custody after school administration searched him and his vehicle. They found marijuana, mushrooms and acid in the vehicle, with a single shot shotgun under a seat. The student told officials he forgot about the shotgun being in the vehicle. The gun was unloaded and at no time were there threats made to the school or students. He has been booked on numerous drug charges and charges of possession of a weapon during a drug offense and possession of a deadly weapon on school grounds.

Just about all male kids that drove had shotguns in their pickups at school. Most of them in plain sight. Hermantown Minnesota class of 73
Gary Gamache it’s the drugs, not the unloaded weapon, that got this guy into trouble.
Poor kid…he just needs a hug.
They would have let him off with warning if just weapon. Them drugs are serious case.
My concern is why he had them where he get them and big one was he on them.
