There is new information on the family who allegedly assaulted a female Walmart employee and shot at police in Cottonwood last weekend. Police say the three members of the Gaver family performed on the streets of Boise, Idaho as a religious band. The name of the band was Matthew 24 Now, which refers to the second coming of Jesus Christ. Nathan Gaver told police the family was forced to leave Idaho, but didn’t say why. The band is three of seven family members arrested on charges after a melee in the store’s parking lot as soon as police arrived on the scene. In the incident, 21-year-old Enoch Gaver was fatally shot by police. Cottonwood Police Sergeant Jeremy Daniels was shot in the leg during the exchange, but has been released from the hospital and is expected to be okay.
