A man who is accused of fatally stabbing his wife over 20 times last month in Doney Park, has pleaded not guilty to charges in connection with the incident. Thirty-eight-year-old Timothy Duran entered his plea during an arraignment Monday in Coconino County Superior Court. Duran and his wife, 35-year-old Crystal Morgan, were in their home in the Gemini Drive area, when Duran allegedly started stabbing her multiple times back on March 21st. He left the area before authorities arrived and was later taken into custody by Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies on Interstate-17 near the McGuireville Exit. Emergency personnel treated Morgan at the scene, but she was pronounced dead. Morgan had filed for divorce from Duran on March 18th. Duran is facing charges of first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, child abuse and two counts of threatening or intimidating. He is currently being held at the Coconino County Jail on two-million dollars bond.
