A man was arrested last week after he went on a rampage at a Flagstaff hotel. Police say a man started banging on the lobby door of the Hampton Inn on East Lockett Road early in the morning. An employee was in the office doing paperwork when she heard the noise. It was then 52-year-old Gary Daniel broke through the glass after he threw a luggage rack through the door. When officers arrived, the suspect claimed he did it because at least 20 people had chased him through the woods and onto the hotel property. Officers say he was also seeing people and things that weren’t there as he was being taken to jail. He was arrested and charged with felony criminal damage and disorderly conduct.
