YCSO Makes 26 Stops On State Route 89A During Thanksgiving Weekend

The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, Valley Task Force and Tri-City Task Force set up an impaired driving enforcement post on State Route 89A during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The post was set up just outside of Jerome and teams completed 26 traffic stops. Traffic citations were given and officers made two misdemeanor arrests and one felony DUI arrest. YCSO will continue using grants from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety to ensure the safety of drivers. For more information, visit ycsoaz.gov.
