The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a pair of suspects in connection with burglaries in the Lynx Lake area near Prescott. Deputies were called to a vehicle burglary Sunday in the Salida Gulch Trailhead off Lynx Creek Road between noon and 2 p.m. The victim parked her car at the trailhead and upon return, found the back window broken out and her purse and wallet were missing. Soon after, she received notices her credit cards were being used for more than five-thousand dollars in charges. Officials say the suspects went to the Fry’s Store in Prescott Valley and bought numerous 500-dollar gift cards with the victim’s credit cards. Surveillance video showed two black males arrive at the store in a silver SUV with Arizona plates. One suspect was wearing white or grey pants, a dark colored undershirt, a white/grey jacket and a baseball cap. The second suspect is wearing dark-colored clothing, black and white shoes and a cap with lettering on it. If anyone has information on the suspects, or the crime, contact the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office or Yavapai Silent Witness.
