YCSO Looking For A Man In Connection With A Domestic Violence Incident In Yarnell

The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is looking for 47-year-old Neil Allan McCarthy. On December 28th, just after 11 a.m., McCarthy assaulted an adult family member in the parking lot of a restaurant in Yarnell. During the altercation, McCarthy struck the victim in the face and hit his head against a car causing injury to the victim. McCarthy fled the scene and has yet to be located by law enforcement. In addition, McCarthy is a Level 2 sex offender stemming from a 2000 conviction out of Navajo County for sexual conduct with a minor in which the victim was an adolescent female known to the suspect. McCarthy has failed to register as a sex offender. McCarthy is described as a white male, five-feet-eight inches tall, 180 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He has multiple tattoos to include what appears to be clowns on his arm. His last known address was on Cherry Street in Yarnell. If you provide information that leads to McCarthy’s arrest, you could earn up to a $350 cash reward. To earn the reward, you must call Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232 or submit a tip online at www.yavapaisw.com.
