YCSO Looking For A Fraud Suspect After She Made Purchases In Flagstaff And Prescott Valley

Yavapai County authorities are looking for a woman who is wanted for identity theft and credit card fraud. Officials say a Paulden woman called deputies last week and said her credit card company notified her about suspicious charges to her account between June 21st and June 23rd of this year. The victim said she physically had her card, but someone apparently obtained and used her account information to make unauthorized purchases. Over a thousand dollars in items were bought at various stores including a Safeway store in Flagstaff, the WalMart in Prescott Valley and an IHOP in Prescott Valley. The card was used in all transactions. WalMart provided security video to investigators of the suspect making two purchases on June 22nd, and the IHOP had video of her making a purchase at their restaurant. Officials say she was seen driving away in a white, late 2000s Ford Ranger pickup truck. She is a white, heavy set, female about 50 years old with longer dark hair. If anyone has information on the suspect, contact the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office at (928) 771-3260 or call Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232 or submit a tip online at yavapaisw.com.
