Cottonwood Man, Who Had Been Missing Since Friday, Is Found Safe

A man, who went missing last Friday in Verde Village, has been found safe. Authorities were looking for 50-year-old Shawn Krug from Cottonwood. Krug was missing through the weekend, but was found near the Black Canyon River access off Highway 260 in Cottonwood Monday morning. Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials say Krug was dehydrated but otherwise ok. He will be treated and reunited with his family.
