YCSO Deputies Arrest A Man In Cottonwood Wanted On Sex Charges In Oregon

Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies arrest a man wanted for sexual assault charges out of Oregon. Deputies went to a Cottonwood home in the 25-hundred block of Quirt Circle at around 10 a.m. Tuesday on information that 46-year-old John Klein would be there. Klein is wanted for several counts of rape and sexual abuse involving a minor. Deputies watched the area and learned that Klein was on his way home in a black-colored SUV with Oregon plates. They saw the SUV come into the neighborhood and made a traffic stop. Klein was in the vehicle and was arrested without incident. He was booked into the Camp Verde Detention Center on a warrant on $100-thousand dollars bond. Klein is awaiting extradition back to Oregon.
