A Florida man was arrested this week after he was pulled over near Ash Fork on Interstate-40 and drugs were found inside. Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over 22-year-old Joseph Whigham Monday at around noon for a traffic violation. While talking to Whigham, the deputy noticed an odor of marijuana coming from inside the blue sedan. During a check, a K9 deputy found several vacuum sealed packages under the seats, behind the interior panels and under the dashboard. Deputies found a total of four pounds or marijuana, 90 vape pen/cartridges and three pounds of THC infused candy. Deputies also found 22 tabs of LSD in Joseph’s wallet. Whigham admitted being paid a few thousand dollars to deliver the drugs to another location. He was booked into the Camp Verde Detention Center on drug charges.
