Yavapai County has seen a minimal rise in positive COVID-19 cases in two days. Health officials say positive cases are up to 65 Sunday from 63 on Friday. There are 14 cases in Prescott Valley, 13 in Prescott, ten in Sedona and eight in Cottonwood. There are nine in other Quad Cities cities, six in other Verde Valley areas and five in Mayer. So far 1,555 county residents have been tested with 1,490 negative results, there have been three recoveries from the virus in the Verde Valley area and one death in Prescott. Verde Valley Medical Center has two positive cases of COVID-19, with 16 awaiting results. Thirty of 65 cases are ages 55-to-74, Yavapai Regional Medical Center has three positive COVID-19 patients with five awaiting results on the West Campus and two on the East Campus.
