Yavapai County To Lift Stage One Fire Restrictions Wednesday Morning

Stage One fire restrictions will be lifted in Yavapai County Wednesday morning. Yavapai County Board of Supervisors Chairman Craig Brown says after talking with fire and forest officials, as well as Yavapai County Emergency Management, the decision was made to eliminate the restrictions. Chairman Brown says enough rain has fallen in grassland areas outside of the forest that it was time to remove the restrictions. Officials say if you are camping, still make sure to put our your campfire, cold to the touch, and be careful when using open flame and other equipment that could spark and start a fire.
