The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating the person, or people, responsible for damaging a number of mailboxes and an electronic speed sign in Cottonwood. Deputies responded to a criminal damage report last Monday at around 7:42 a.m. in the areas of Rancho Vista Way, Peila Avenue, Bonita Lane, Arrowhead Lane and Monte Tesoro Drive. Deputies found 30 mailboxes had been damaged and found the speed sign damages on Camino Real. The sign was bought by the county for just over 48-hundred dollars in June of 2018. Yavapai Silent Witness is offering a $200 reward for information leading to an arrest, or arrests, in this case.
