The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution Wednesday making the county Arizona’s second “Second Amendment Sanctuary County.” The resolution mirrors the one Mohave County passed in 2019. The resolution supports the Second Amendment, which grants citizens the right to “keep and bear arms.” The board discussed the resolution in a meeting back on December 18th. After nearly three-and-a-half hours of public comment, the board voted to consider the opinions of those who spoke and craft a resolution that supported that. The legislation was unanimously approved.
