Yavapai County Has Its First Presumptive Positive Case Of COVID-19

Yavapai County has its first presumptive positive case of COVID-19. Yavapai County Health officials say the person is a Sedona resident and is currently under a health investigation by Yavapai County Community Health Services. The patient has no symptoms, has not been hospitalized and is isolating at home. People close to the person will be contacted by the health department. The positive case was tested at a local public health lab and needs to be confirmed by the CDC. Earlier Thursday, the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors approved a proclamation of Countywide Emergency in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
