Yavapai County Has Its First COVID-19 Related Death, Positive Cases Up To 57

Yavapai County has its first coronavirus-related death. County health officials say the death happened Saturday. The person who passed away was in the 65-and-older age group. Positive cases of COVID-19 are up to 57 in the county. There are ten positive cases in Prescott, Prescott Valley and Sedona with 13 other cases in the Quad Cities area and six in other parts of the county, with one unknown. Verde Valley Medical Center is reporting no active cases, with eight tests pending and Yavapai Regional Medical Center has three COVID-positive patients under care with eleven awaiting test results on the West Campus and three in the East Campus.
