Yavapai County Board Of Supervisors Okays A Committee To Build A Memorial To Fallen Officers

The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors approved a proposal this week to build a memorial at the Yavapai County Courthouse for fallen Yavapai County Police officers. The Board authorized the creation of a committee Wednesday to begin the process of design and cost under their oversight. Other than maintenance, no taxpayer dollars will be used to build the memorial. It will be placed on the courthouse plaza in an area near the gazebo, easily accessible from both Montezuma and Gurley streets in downtown Prescott.
