Bars, gyms, movie theaters and other indoor entertainment businesses will have to close by the end of the business day Friday in Yavapai County after an executive order by Governor Ducey. The governor’s order, that he announced Thursday night, says counties with a positive case of coronavirus, must take action to help avoid the spread of COVID-19. Yavapai County’s first positive case was announced Thursday, when a person in Sedona tested positive. The patient has no symptoms, has not been hospitalized and is isolating at home. Restaurants can remain open, but cannot offer dine-in options. They can stay open by offering take out, curbside service or delivery service only. For those that would like an alcoholic beverage with their order, they can have it delivered with their meal, according to Ducey.
